Sitaram Mill Compound MPS formed a women’s group two years back as a part of the Community  Engagement goal of our SDR. This group consists of 13 women, few of whose children are not enrolled in our school.

During the first year, we built their capacity through various sessions which were related to legal issues, income generation and leadership. After few sessions the group felt that they should work on health issues which is the need of the community. For the same, the group tied up with The Reliance Health Foundation.

On 16th February, 2017 we organised a free medical camp for the women in the community. The Reliance Health Foundation had sent a team of supporting doctors along with a gynaecologist. Many women took the benefit of this camp and got themselves diagnosed. The doctors have offered to help them with any issues.
