The fourth grade children made 3D seascapes for the first time.
They were divided into groups and each group started off by making origami whales, the steps to fold the whale were displayed on the TV. The students figured their way through by helping each other in their respective groups and ended up making the paper whales. Following which they made paper waves for the seascapes by painting strips of paper blue in colour. Then they made boats and decorated those with flags. Finally everything was assembled and each group was ready with a beautiful seascape.
Two of the students, Harshita and Manthan came up with an innovative idea of displaying all the seascapes together.
It was a good team building exercise and the kids were very excited on seeing the end result.
